Title: Why printable activities are making a comeback among Indian parents

A quiet trend is growing among Indian parents — going back to printable, paper-based activities for their kids, even in an age of endless apps.

Part of this is practical. Printables are cheap, instantly available, and reusable. You download once, print as many times as you like, and there's no subscription, no ads, no "just five more minutes" negotiation.

But there's also something deeper happening. Many parents have started noticing that their children focus differently with paper than with screens — slower, calmer, often longer. A coloring page doesn't ping, autoplay, or pull a child to the next thing. It simply sits there until the child is done with it.

This doesn't mean technology is the enemy — most of us are using screens responsibly in many parts of our lives, including this very blog! But having a few simple, offline tools on hand gives families more choice in how their children spend their time, rather than defaulting to a screen by habit.

If you're looking to try this out, simple printable activity books (like the ones I make under Kids Take It All!) are an easy, low-cost way to start.
